Troubleshooting

When Azeroth Survivors will not load

Start with the message on the original game page. WebGPU support, a slow asset load and server capacity need different fixes.

Original browser bootstrap and browser guidanceReviewed October 18, 2026

“This browser has no WebGPU”

Aethus’s original page checks for WebGPU. Its own message recommends a current Chrome, Edge or Safari. Update your browser, close it completely, then open the original game again.

A browser exposing the WebGPU API can still fail to obtain a suitable GPU adapter. If another up-to-date browser on the same machine also fails, try the author’s Windows build. That route avoids the browser API requirement.

The original page mentions a Linux Chrome WebGPU flag. Flags change browser behaviour; consult your browser’s current documentation before changing one. The Windows alternative is often a simpler next step.

A black screen with no error

  1. Keep the original tab open while its assets load. Do not start several simultaneous game tabs; they compete for memory and downloads.
  2. If the page remains blank, check whether the browser reports a blocked script, failed download or GPU error. The specific error matters more than the colour of the screen.
  3. Try the original URL directly. An embedded copy can add frame restrictions or another site’s scripts.
  4. Restart the browser and retry once. If it still fails, use the Windows link or report the error in the game’s Discord.

We cannot promise a fixed loading time. Connection speed, cached assets and the author’s service load can change it.

“Too many people are playing”

The original bootstrap includes this message for a capacity or daily-request limit response. Waiting and trying again later can help. The author also provides a Windows download and Discord link as alternatives.

This guide does not have a live capacity feed. Seeing the message described here does not mean the server is currently full.

Lost progress or a different save

Stay on the same trusted game origin when possible. Browsers isolate site storage by origin; a community mirror can have separate storage from the original. Before changing host or clearing site data, look for an export or backup option in the client you are using.

We have not verified save compatibility between the original and the source rebuild. Do not overwrite your only save to test a transfer.

What to include in a bug report

  • The exact URL and whether you used the original or a community rebuild.
  • Your browser and operating system versions.
  • The exact visible error and the step where loading stopped.
  • Whether a second browser or the Windows build works.

Send the report to the community linked by the author. Remove personal information from screenshots and console output before sharing them.

Check before retrying

Return to Azeroth Survivors for the original play link and a browser capability check, or read the first-run controls while the client loads.
